MEST4 Preliminary exercise: evaluation

1) Why did you choose this particular recreation and how does it link to your main production?

I choose Steve Jobs because it is a documentary based on him and Apple, it links to my main production because it will be a docu-drama based on my own 'true story'.
2) What difficulties did you face in producing this recreation?

The difficulties that i faced whilst producing this was that it was difficult to get the right actors at a suitable time, and also making sure everything is visibly right with the camera settings which is quite unreliable on the viewfinder.

3) What are the strengths of the production?

The strengths of the production is that it feels similar to the piece i tried to recreate.
4) What aspects would you look to improve?
The aspects that i would look to improve is to ensure I have enough time to refill footage, the quality of the actual piece, and potentially more accurate actors.

5) What lessons will you take from this process that will help you with your main production?

The lessons that I will take from this process is to make sure I give myself enough time for each process to make sure it is as good as it can be. 
6) Now that you are ready to start your actual linked production, explain clearly what you will be creating and how confident you are in delivering this.
I will be creating an opening scene from my own docudrama film. I think that I have thought through my idea enough too confidently know what i am doing.
